Governor Tessori Removed Without Consulting MQM-P: Aminul Haque

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leader Aminul Haq spoke in Karachi on Tuesday. He said authorities removed the Sindh Governor without consulting MQM-P. He expressed concern over the decision and its political impact. Moreover, he highlighted the importance of including allies in key decisions.
He referred to Kamran Tessori, who previously held the position of Sindh Governor. He said officials had promised that the governor would belong to MQM-P. However, he added that the recent removal broke that understanding. Therefore, he urged authorities to honor past commitments.
Aminul Haq stated that the Prime Minister holds the authority to appoint or remove a governor. He acknowledged this constitutional power clearly. Still, he stressed that consultation with coalition partners remains important. Consequently, he called for better coordination in future decisions.
he announced that MQM-P would celebrate its foundation day on Wednesday. He said the party would mark the occasion with enthusiasm. In addition, he emphasized unity among party members. He also encouraged supporters to participate actively in events.

At the same time, he strongly criticized the Pakistan People’s Party. He said corruption and incompetence define its governance. Moreover, he accused the party of failing to deliver on major development projects. He linked these issues to broader governance challenges in Sindh.
He specifically mentioned the Shahrah-e-Bhutto project. He said authorities have still not completed the project. Furthermore, he claimed delays reflect poor planning and execution. He argued that such failures affect public trust and development progress.
he criticized Sindh Chief Minister Bilawal Bhutto for receiving inaccurate reports. He said the Chief Minister presents misleading updates to the PPP chairman. As a result, he urged transparency and accountability. He concluded by calling for improved governance across Sindh.
